Back after a year.

Everything feels so familiar yet so strange.

Everyday has been pretty busy,

no more cooks outs every night,

no more dinner in front of the tv,

no more shopping at toowong/indooroo after school..

Oh well.. Honours is really gonna be hard work.

Lets see if after honours I'm gonna end up coming back or not.

New additions to the ppl who are here from NP!

Ciggy, Mark and Nicole are here!

Finally there are some guys ard.

They are pretty useful really.

Good to go grocery shopping with.

Shockingly, Ciggy can cook.

I mean i admit i was pretty skeptical about it,

but after testing his cooking today, fine.. I'm convinced

Oh and they are really useful when

you've got nothing to do and need ppl for entertainment :)

Everyone in this house is doing honours.

So many people leading such different lives but still able to meet due to dance.

Life is such a dilemma..

But its these series of serendipity that lets people meet,

know each other, and retain fond memories

Its so hilarious listening to their love episodes,

their day, their life..

Fancy having a person declare their love for you

Really.. They are so much braver then so many of us.

The egg tarts are all freshly made and sold hot into your hands.

Just one bit you'll fall deeply in love with it.

The crispy tart is fluffy and crumbles in your mouth as your teeth sinks into it.

The egg is soft and it slides down your throat ever so smoothly...

Yes.. Its snake.. WOOOO.. doesn't taste reptile-ish.

(Though i don't know how reptiles taste like but i dont expect it to taste any good.)

It really taste like chicken! But more chew to it.

The goose absorbed the flavour of the pickled vege and spring onions,

enhancing the flavour of the meat.

Back from the HK trip.

Zhu Hai was a waste of time.

Lunch buffet in Macau provided by the agency was horrendous.

Dim Sum breakfast with the tour aint great.

Its been a long time since i was wow-ed by a movie.

The animation was excellent, the layout was interesting,

Oh last friday i think.. A customer brought her baby to the office.

GOSH THE BABY IS FAT!!

So freaking cute. Mini eyes, cubby face, totally a Michelin.

His only like 5mths old and he's 11kg!

His already 9kg when he's 4mths old!

Apparently he had to go on a diet,

the doc told the mom and the granny to give him less milk.

He drinks too much!

Sigh.. 1 bag of my fresh blood to be discarded.

Emo! Oh well, as a science student i prolly already know they would dump it.

But still it used to be part of me...

Donated blood one day before i got my tonsillitis.

When i woke up that morning feverish i knew that i had to call blood bank and tell them.

So i did, and i said....

Hi. I came to donate blood ytd but i'm down with a fever.

I reckon

you should probably withdraw my blood or smth.

SAD! Its ok.. Next time then.

This is my 5th time donating blood and i decided to take a photo....

I am sick right. But i had to go down to PS to collect my ATM card,

cause... Apparently i dropped it outside DBS and someone returned it.

Ok thats not the point.. After collecting my card

I went to take the lift from ground floor to 7th floor to grab my car.

Waited really long for lift cause 2 came but both were full...

This guy came along and so were a few others..

Finally there's this lift that came and i happened to be standing

right in front of the door! HURRAY!!!

Then that guy zoom in from beside me and there!

The lift is full!! I was starring at him with freaking dagger eyes!

DAMN he didn't dare look up at me.. not once!

RIDICULOUS I TELL U!!!

I had to wait at least like what 6 7 lifts to finally manage to get up to 7th floor.

How can i not be pissed!!!!

I'm down with tonsillitis yet again...

Woke up at 6am feeling like i'm down with something.

Took my temp... 38.5

Popped 2 pills and went back to bed.

Dad woke me up for work.

Felt much better after taking the pills,

but told him i had fever nonetheless..

Went back to bed.. Woke up at 11-ish

Felt the fever come back...

Went to see the doc.. 39.5...

i think i could have been much smarter

without all the high fevers...

Couldn't go home cause its pouring..

Mom came to fetch me home..

Waited for more then half an hour..

Sat at the staircase hiding from the cold...

Didn't know it was so bad until i check out my tonsils..

BKK was truck loads of fun! Shopping is really great.
Though time was limited but..
I somehow managed to bring a quarter of platinum mall home. Lolz.
Had the big prawns at one of the river restaurants
around Bang Pa Inn Palace.
Yummy!
Visited my bro's new place, the shop, the sites..
Quite impressed with the improvement in Thai.
Though apparently ppl do mistaken him for a thai (cause he's pretty dark now)
until he opens his mouth haha.

The office/factory is undergoing renovations.
Hope that it will be done soon..
Wonder how we're gonna pack everything. -_-

Its been years since I last posted.

Life's been real busy.

Working at dad's company, 6 days a week.

Shopping, social life needed desperately.

Since haven't had the chance to go out shopping,

I've recently been opening my doors to online shopping.

Guess whats the first time i buy?

Not clothes, not shoes, not bags...

But Sims 3 from ebay! Lolz.

EGGCITED!! Can't wait to play.

Btw. I got myself a mac during the IT fair, did i mention?

Greatness i don't have to be worried about virus invasion anymore.

Mac is actually quite a babe after using it.

Used to think its really un-user friendly.

Went for Gurion's speechcraft competition (he's the organiser-ish as always...)

and NP looks more and more different the next time i saw it,
But still I really loved that place.. Tonns of memories...
Had dinner at KAP and saw Panda in the most dramatic way.

YEY!!!! Got all our assignments settle today!
Submitted the last and final assignment for intro to research!
Went for a mini celeb with leen, manda and pris.
Gosh the jam was soo bad we took more than an hr to get to sunnybank!
I was half dead when we finally got to the restaurant.
Hungry and tired..
BUT! The food was really good!
We ordered gado gado, hot plate tofu, chili flounder and guiness stout pork ribs.
After which we went for some desserts.
The dou hua was super nice, and the green tea ice cream too!

Sigh!!! Exams are in 2weeks time!
STRESSED!! Gosh.. Gotta start studying real hard!
Time to rot in library everyday :(

Picnic at Mt Cootah

YEY! The picnic was a sucess!!!
We picnic-ed Mt. Cootah's Botenic Gardens today!
Made a huge detour cause the place was closed for some car race,
then we were told that we could have entered from the start
of the detour cause the botenic gardens is just at the foot :(

Heard from mom she pain started last night at 2am (sg time).
Then she was wheeled into the delivery suite at 9am this morning
and she finally gives birth 12 hrs later!!!
This baby girl is really giving her mom a tough time huh?

Gosh Phew...
Finally got over that anatomy test
i was studying soooo hard for the past week..
Doubt i did any good....
Would be absolutely thrilled if i managed to scrape a pass.
I'm so drained just studying it.
Doubt upper limb will be any easier,
In fact, its gonna be tougher with the pectoral girdle
having a higher mobility..
Different muscles will be activated to do certain actions....

Gosh, is Hugh Jackman Hot or HOT!!!
Pris was practically drooling when he appeared topless.
Not to mention when he appeared "naked"
WAHAH!! Aniways.. its really a pretty good movie.
Enjoyed it. Good production HUGH!
Really saw the "bad"side of wolverine.. Fierce and animal like.
But of course in the end he wasn't the animal everyone think he is.

Anticipation Anticipation.
My dear baby niece is offically overdued!
Yet she's still not arrived yet!!
Guess she's feeling really comfy in there huh?
Apprently she had turned head down 3 weeks ago,
the docs were so sure she's gonna arrive early.
3 weeks later and she's still not arrived...
Hahaa, my sis-in-law says this baby is determined to give her a hard time..
Oh well.. I'm so eggcited guess if she doesnt arrive soon,
she'll have to go for induced labour.
She's the main reason i'm going back to SG as well..

Amanda's Fei Mei Melody came to visit!
Brought her around and went places with Frank.

Here's the low down on the itinerary.
DAY1 Movie world + Sizzler Dinner
Movie world was kinda bad..
It was raining the whole day. Grand parade was cancelled..
Initially we wanted to have dinner at "A salt and battery"
and desserts at 3 monkeys.
Amanda insisted for mel to try the fish and chips.
However as we were happily driving there ITS CLOSED!
Sigh shld have known its Easter monday!
So we drove to southbank wanting to try the turkish food.
ITS CLOSED AS WELL!
We decided that 3 monkeys would be closed as well
so we decided to opt for the best option
which we're sure would be open -> Sizzler.

DAY2 Seaworld + Salt and Battery + 3 monkeys
Seaworld was absolutely fantabulous!
The best and the only thing that was really interesting.
The Shark Bay! Omg.. So missing diving.
I could just sit in front of the aquarium the whole day man!
It was so full of life and vitality, just wanna jump in with em...
The dolphin show was really good as well.
Cool stuff they can do. Jump really high and all..
Sigh if only we could go in there.. with them..
Dinner and dessert were really good..
The cakes.. zomg.. I'm filled to the brim..

Day 3 Yum Cha + DFO + Turkish + Batavia
Woah seriously a whole day of fun and food!!!
Yum cha-ed at the valley. Ordered sooo much food.
Turkish was sooo yummy! Everyone loved the food
Then we went to Batavia for coffee.
Chilled there for quite a few hours.
Spent the time there dai dee-ing and playing amanda's
guess the song game.
Had a really really good time man!

Day 4 Indooroo + Sunnybanks + Sukiyaki + Bye Mel
Went to indooroo cause mel n manda were shopping.
Brought mel to see Sunnybanks and buy stuff for steamboat.
Steamboat was sooo good. Had sukiyaki (jap steamboat)
we couldnt move after that man so full.
After that went to manda's place pick up the luggage
and set off for the airport.

BYE MEL!!! Hope u had a good time here!
Was nice playing host lolz.

Rushed from home to Straddie. Thank god we made the ferry or else there wont be any bus to take us to manta lodge. =X

Early morning. We woke up ard 4.30am for the dive at 5.30am. Was down at the shed at 5am i guess. The photo explains it all.. ;)

OMG!!! I'm officially an Open Water Diver!
Can't wait for another dive!
I'm seriously hooked man!
Its really like dope, I don't think i'll ever stop.
The feeling of being at the bottom of the ocean,
swimming with schools and schools of fish
is so awesome I can't put words to it.
You feel so carefree down there with all the fishes,
Nemo, pretty little blue fishes, lion fish, starfish,
seaurchin, pigmy rays....

The instructors are really nice, helpful and just absolutely fantabulous!

Gosh i think i would be like panicking and all if it wasn't for them.
WHAT AN AWSOME-RIFIC EXPERIENCE!!!
except for the seasickness part on the first 2 dives.
Took seasickness pills already and i still puked. :(
But of course i wasn't the only one. PRIS TOO!
And i was in the water beside her when she released her stomach contents. ewww...

First 2 dives the visibility was sweet man!
First dive was soo eggciting!!!
I was like trying to stabilize myself (if you're ever stable in the water?)
and James was like doing the shark hand sign,
pointing to his goggles (which means look),
and pointing at this huge thing and dragging me along in the water.
OMG!!!! HUGE LEOPARD SHARK!
It was soo close to us circling and all. <3
Than i touched this wobbegong thing.
It was after that that Andew said it has bad teeth.
Opx.. too eggcited.
LOL It was really fun!
Couldn't really equalize very well on the 2nd dive.
Thank god for paul.
The next 2 not so good visibility but oh well.
My mask was foggy throughout the 3rd so i was practically blind.

ARGH!!! Can't wait to dive again.
Gonna get some of my own equipments :)

Just caught SYTYCD Australia on TV.
Cant believe they are here in Australia!!!
From the time i saw them on SYTYCD America I've loved them.
They are such great choreographers.
No Air was absolutely amazing, the number BJ and Talia did....
Gosh, if i ever get to learn from them...
Or even just see them...
What an experience it would be!!

Finished reading the whole twilight series.
Going on to read other books.
Wow. I think i've never bought so many books on my own accord.
Cool stuff..

GOSH!!! Sat is freaking GAMSAT!
Dooms day.. Seriously had not done any study for it.
Doomed to fail. Though a little pinch in my heart tells me i don't want to.

Anyways school has been pretty much monotonous.
Didn't really understand Fertility lecture,
Anatomy is interesting and highly challenging,
Pathology was pretty much boring,
(trying very hard not to doze off in lecture; prac's interesting though),
and Research was smooth going I would say.

Mom's birthday's round the corner.
Bought her a parker pen hope she likes it.
To think about it, I think this is the first birthday I'm not around.

It rained today!!!
It has been hot and haven't been raining for a long long time.
Guess the cyclone is really coming huh?
Heard it moves at 295km/h that's really fast.
Hope it doesn't come down to Brisbane though.
Then we have to be evacuated and all.
The last thing i would want is to stay in our wooden queenslander
and get blown away or something. :S
The rain really made it sooooo very comfey for a afternoon nap,
but stayed up to read a few chapters of new moon before napping at 5pm.

Was reading through my new Moore's textbook that i bought.
Gosh, anatomy.. So interesting yet so killing me with all the terms.
Cross my fingers and hopefully i can scrape through the pinning test this thursday.

Had Anatomy class on thursday.
Omg. We got to do a dissection on the cadaver.
What an experience of a life time.
Felt kinda bad dissecting though he has passed.
Thanx for donating your body to allow us to gain first hand knowledge

Aniways, this was the first lesson
so all we did was to remove the skin from the anterior arm and forearm,
as well as the anterior leg and dorsum of the foot.
I did the anterior leg and dorsum of the foot.
We've really gotta do only the skin
because we've gotta prepare the body for future pracs.
There'll be a test on the lower limbs, mainly the tigh,
during the next prac.
RARRR... my weak basic is getting me all tensed!
There's so much too learn sooo little time.
All the arteries, the muscles (anterior, lateral, posteria)
the bones, joints.... ZOMG SO MANY NAMES!!
Pray hard that i can rmb.. pray hard...

Omg.. I'm here for a week already!
Time really flies.
This sucks. Schools reopening in 2 days!
I'm so not prepared for it.
This maybe the last leg of my degree,
but i doubt it'll be the last leg of my uni life.

How time flies...
In another 7 1/2 hrs I'll be leaving on a jet plane..

It's been quite some time since i last blogged huh?
Went on 2 trips during my absence,
Thailand BKK and Japan Kyushu.
Shopping is ever so fun with Lou po.
But she fell sick on the 3rd day of BKK trip
and she's still ill from it so get well soon babe.

Went Japan with my family,
was pretty fun, except that we're always eating the same thing.
This time only my second bro & sis-in-law were here,
hopefully the next time the whole family could go tgt.
I guess hot spring is always the best part of the trip. ;)
Great relaxation activity..
Had hot spring 5 outta 6 nights hehe.
(There was no hot spring in the first night)
Got to know the family of 4 with 2 really cute kids,
one 7 mths and one 3 yrs old.
The mother was really nice gotta keep in touch with her,
how often than not do we get to stay in contact with ppl we go on tour with?

Went to Keppal Bay with Bestie on Monday.

Gosh.. Marina Barrage and Keppal Bay are really 2 great places to go pat tor man.

The atmosphere, the scenary, the wind...

Aniways wanted to go to the TCC there but its closed.. :(

So we ended up at this quite expensive.. cafe?

Had a chocolate milk shake like thing for 11 bucks. =X

But the chrispy chocoballs were nice though.

Missed chatting with her like no tomorrow.

Surprising to have a bunch of frens dating back to pri sch,

stayed in contact all these years and close like we've always been so...

no huge crowds and no long queues outside Lim Chee Guan.

(Bought some bak kua for dad to bring back to HK,

apparently its s$44 per kg, and i bought 100+ worth of stuff :O)

Happy New Year!! 新年快乐!!!

Really hope that this year will be a happy one.
Huge decisions to make.
Am i gonna stay in Aussie for another 4 years?
Am i gonna come back to Singapore after my degree?
Am i gonna stay for another year?

Spent most of the whole of new year's eve driving.
Drove from Home, to Mom's Office, to TBP,
to Novena, to East Coast, to Changi, to Bugis and finally..
HOME. And than from home, to West Coast Mac, back home,
to Hougang and back home again..
Was great that i could spend the new year
with all my closer frens (gang or part there of).
R.A.M , 6A supper gang, Gls...
Well great start to a year with loads of unforeseen circumstances.

During dinner, had a pretty nice chat with dad about the past.
His life when he was a child, the tough life back then.
How he went from China to Hong Kong, HK to Japan,
Japan to Singapore, finally settling down here.
When i was younger, i didn't used to listen intently
when he was talking about his childhood.
Today, i decided i should cherish all the time i have,
know more, hear more, share more, learn more...

Had a chat with cheng today...
Really missed chatting with her. (Non-stop)
Do people's values, character, what not change in the face of love?
A once so clear headed person could be so blinded by love,
that's a shocker.
Is there really a bench mark for everything?
An SOP, a bench mark, a set of rules for love?
Heard a piece of news from her,
was pretty disturbed by it.
Guess its really a sign telling me to cherish all the people around me.
I guess this shall be my moto for this year:

Argh hate being sick.
To whomever who invented panadol, u're a genius.
Really! I could be feeling really sick down with fever and all,
and after i pop the pill its like i've never been sick before.
Well of course after the effect wears off the temp will rise, once again,
to greater heights. But!
At least the panadol gives me the energy and health i need to get things done.
Been feverish for the past 2 days.
I'm as dead as a bear in hibination.
Trying to recover w/o the use of drugs.
Started on my liquid diet, maybe this is a good chance for me to slim down.

Nothing beats being home.
Been slacking quite a bit at home, going out for meals

After being to Melbourne and Sydney
still find brissy the best. <3

Its and 88 story building the edge was pretty cool! They put u into this glass box than they move the glass box out. First u cant see anything outta the windows after that they will turn the glass clear and city really look so picturesque at night..

-Blue Mountains/Katoomba
OMG everyone you have to visit the blue mountains. Looking from the lookouts, with the sun illuminating the valleys and the mountains bring out the blueish hue when the light shines on the droplets of eucalyptus tree... ahhh.. love it..
- Bondi beach
yes yes yes.. the ever famous bondi beach.. hunks babes. Surfers.. ;)
- The rocks
- Sydney Opera house
- Sydney Harbour Bridge
I climbed it! Lolz. It was a pretty cold climb.. The wind was so strong i was like almost blown away. The view up there is totally unbelievable.. A birds eye view of the whole city.. Just amazing.

Can't wait to be back in SG!! Of course we love sg the best.
The four of us on the tours were either known as the girls with the caps or Team Singapore!
See what impact singapore has on us.
Whenever ppl know that we're from sg they say that s'poreans are polite.
WOW! Lolz. But, we've always been mistaken for other nationalities.

FINALLY!!! EXAMS ARE FREAKING OVER!

Cheng came to visit. YEYNESS! Love her loads.
Went to milton for lunch after FMA paper.

Steamboat celebration after the papers with lovely frens.

DREAMWORLD! The rides are not bad.. I was screaming like crazy on the first ride (though it wasn't really that scary)managed to let out all the stress. LOVE PATRICK!
The chauffeur, the passenger and the lao ya car. Seriously don't know how the chauffeur got her licence. Pris: Hey is the break on the left leg or the right leg? Me: Both are on the right...

Love the Koala. SO CUTE!

We braided our hair. SO EX! But SO NICE lolz!
Brought Cheng ard brissy the next day. Went to Westend for langos and lepenny, went southbank for lifestyle markets, and DFO for shiopping.

Next destination, Stradbroke Island! And manta lodge once again.

EOD was not too bad. Was having such a panic attack before the paper.
Felt like puking, stomach was churning..

Seriously don't think I can persevere any more.
This exam is really taking it toll on me...
My back is hurting real bad, the sharp pain is killing me.
My hair is dropping so much I think I'm turning bald.
Its so mentally draining that,
even the little last bit of whats left of my energy is slipping away.
But, I can't I have to drill on, even till the very last drop.
This is the path I've choosen and I know I ~~can't~~ won't regret.
Its just 4 days but 4 days feels like 4 mths, 4 years, 4 decades...
I'm so gonna fail, I know it, but I really can't afford it.
Give me some strength pls. Let me carry on. Just a little bit more...

Finally, its 1 down 3 to go.
Seriously speaking I think I'm so gonna flunk this one.
Not a single tinge of confidence in it.
Essay was sucky left more than like 20 outta 40 marks worth of questions blank?
The MCQ was equally bad, only knew the aldosteronism questions
and prolly the malaria and arboviruses. The rest were -_-"
Ok i think i can so prepare to do the supplementary paper..
Or worst! Repeat the course :( NNNNOOOOO
The day has been pretty suay as well.
Couldn't wake up this morning was suppose to go to the library at 7.30am
end up waking up at 7.30am. Greatness.
Woke out of the house, saw a really gloomy looking sky almost as gloomy as i am.
But of course i won the gloominess.
And it started raining. Wet my berks!!! My precious berks.
The paper started at 5.45 ended close to 8pm.
Who has taken such a later paper in Singapore?

Haiz.. Lets just hope that EOD will be like a million % better than this.
Hmm.. Will be meeting Dr Moritz tml hope it will be all fine.
However still thinking if i shld really do a BMS intro to research
or do a anatomical science one. But argh why doesn't he reply email?!

27th September
North Stradbroke Island.
Really.. an island getaway for all of us trapped up in our assignments.
Pristine waters, beautiful ppl, enchanting animals, breathtaking sunrise...
What more can I ask for?

Woke up bright and early at 5am exhausted but eggcited for the trip.
(Well, i prolly wouldn't be waking up since I went to bed at 4am.
Busy baking instant muffins. But sadly it tasted pretty artifical.
Shld have bought betty crocke..)
Caught the 6.24am ferry which takes us to the city,
hopped on to the 7.16am train which brought us to cleveland.
Than took the bus which brings us to the ferry terminal
and waited for the 7.55am ferry (Calypso).

When we finally got on to the island.. we took a 20mins bus ride
which brought us to our final destination. MANTA LODGE!
The place we call home for the next 3 days..
Checked in got to our rooms and the next thing we tot was food.
Heh.. hungry man.. had fish n chips for lunch and we headed off to the beach!!
OMG.. Lemme tell u, the lodge was only like 20s walk to the beach..
When we saw the beach we were like all sooo eggcited.
The water is really so blue and clear that u can see the bottom,
the sand is soooo soft... Its really like paradise!
Can't ever be compared to SG..
Its heavenly just to slack there the whole afternoon...
Took a bus for dinner at a near by fish and chips place..
The fish is..... But the chips is not bad though.. oh well..
Aniways.. took a 30 mins walk back to the lodge..
The stars were like populating the sky.. Sweet...

28th Sept 08
Woke up at 9am and prepared for another day at the beach..
Planned to loan the snorkel gear for a day and snorkel at the nearby rocks.
Went to the reception and paul brought us to the scuba shed to collect the gear.
That's when he asked the captain James if he could have a snorkel trip and he said yes.
So we decided to go for it! Be adventurous!!
There was a few hrs before we set sail so we went to "the point" where
all the shops and food is.. Walked 1hr and 15 mins to get there.
OMG.. TIRING!! But it was good..
Had succulent beef burger for lunch and good irish coffee galeto!!
YUM YUM! Went to the lookout where we can see good sunrise to take a look...
Zomg.. the sceneary is like unbelieveablely beautiful..
Than headed to the bus stop.. gosh we waited like 40 mins and the bus isnt here!!
We're sooo gonna miss the snorkel!! ARGH!
Than... our saviour came..
We saw a manta lodge van at the opposite side of the road.
And a hand poping outta the window pointing to us..
YEY!! ITS PAUL!! HE CAME TO SAVE US! lolz..
So we hopped onto the van.. got back to the lodge and prepared for the snorkel.
Its our first time wearing the full dive suit.. eggciting..
Than James gave us some pre-snorkel things to note talk,
"Take pictures and leave bubbles.." he said..
The power boat ride was like.. CRAZY SHIT!
The sea's pretty chopping that day..
Its like siting on a roller coaster! UBER FUN!!
We're like woah woAH WOAH!!! lolz..
Went for a snorkel with the guidance of James..
He is really nice lolz. got to see some fishes, crabs..
The bottom is really deep but we're able to see the bottom!
See how clear the water is..
Than we got back to the boat and another ride..
This time i sat at the front. My head was like a soccer ball..
Got hit on to the pole umpteen times and hit leen's head like twice..
Lolz. Painfull BUT when we saw a school of dolphins.. WOAH!!
WE'RE ALL LIKE UBER EGGCITED!!!!!
Got to the 2nd dive location this time its slightly shallower...
More corals.. and james lead pris on the snorkel..
She saw a leapond/zebra shark!! Sobs* i didnt..
After the snorkel we're like all tired..
Had maggi mee played dai di and went to bed.

29th Sept 08
Woke up at 3am to catch the sunrise.
Walk the 1 hr plus walk to the look out and wait for the sun to rise.
Was pretty disappointed a the start cause the sky was all brightened up
yet no egg yolk sunrise..
Than i saw it a darker patch of orange in the middle of the horizone.
Than it all happened very fast..
A tinge of bring orange slowly rising up from the horizone.
Rising steadily geting bigger by the seconds.
It was really intriging!
Taken photos we're abt to leave when leen spotted whales!!!!
ZOMG!! there were 2 of them sprouting water and one doing a half breach!
Cool stuff!!!! Than we saw a huge school of dolphins...
Argh... dun wanna leave..
Walked an hr back to the lodge.. check out..
Had maggi mee breakfast
AND we went to the beach again...
Tanned/dai di-ed for another few hrs..
And its time to leave..

All the clinics are fully booked for the week.
And the only clinic that can fit the 3 of us cost A$120!! SO EX!!!
So we decided we prolly should wait till the summer holidays.
Probably go to Great barrier reef (GBR) to do it!!!
Wootx ROCKS!! Saw this dive centre online which operates at GBR,
facilities seems good and dive medical included!!!
Which means we don't have to go looking for somewhere to do our dive medical!!
Been doing my EOD assignement every day.

I decided i should try to survive without having to buy more quota since its holis.

Realised i haven't been blogging for quite a while.
Life's pretty stable by now,
spring's here, much hotter already.
Mid sem break is almost here,
assignments are about to be due soon.
Been slogging my guts out the whole of ytd rushing 5 ppt slides.
No, i should say 3, did 2 slides before yesterday already.
And those 3 slides took me from 10am to 11pm.
Gotta look up literature paper, piece them together,
reference them. Hate referencing!! Thank god for Endnote.

School's getting pretty stressful.
Work's piling up, assignments coming one after another.
Good think i don't have any mid semester exam.
But that also means that final exam has a higher weightage,
and assignments are bound to come. ARGH!
I'll prolly prefer mid sem exams a little.
At least i get to have a feel of the exam system,
have less weightage for final exams and
the units tested for mid sem wont come up for final!

Not sure if i should continue to do honours here.
Well not much of a point for me to do honours
if I'm not interested in research. Right?
Hmm, I'll prolly give myself a break from studying after my degree.
Haiz. After poly gotta worry what I'm gonna do after that,
now that I've settled and decided to further my studies,
gotta worry about which path i wanna take after my degree.

SIGH! SINGAPORE LOST THE FINALS!

At least we got a silver... IN 48 YRS!
Havent gotten a single medal after we got independent.
Buts its ok.. on the 17th August 2008.
We got it. Our first medal after idependance..
The shiny silver medal belongs to us.
The tiny red dot won an olympic medal,

Went to movie world ytd!!
ROCKS! Super eggciting..
Escape is nthing.. compared to this.
I was really like damn scared when i was about to take the superman ride.
Cause it was the most extreme of the rides there.
Its almost a 180 degrees plung!
So i was like REALLY REALLY considering whether to take it!
Than it was so fast that after that we were like..
DID we just take the superman? Lolz.

Yes, its true. Its kinda hard to survive without bubble tea for months.
It has been with me through the tired and hungry times,

Interesting.

OMG MY FRENS!!!
I've FINALLY FINALLY got internet at home!!!
Yes, like finally after 2 weeks and 2 days.
After all the wait, the trails and temptations....
Haha..

Time really flies, 2 weeks have passed like in a blink of an eye.
School's starting next week. Like real soon.
The mom's have gone back on wed.
Miss my mommy. Haha. Yes i do...
Haiz.. the house don't feel as safe as homely as it used to...
Its ok i believe i can do it! Surviving on my own.

Adjusting to living here is quite interesting and frustrating i shld say?
Haha.. The people are nice thats great.
We're trying to be as eco frenly as possible that great too.
But lemme tell you some of the stuff here is so expensive,
its really a cultural shock.
They grow their own ginger here in aust,
and yet, 1 kg of ginger cost A$10! Thats S$13!!!
Can you imagine?
In s'pore where ginger is like S$1 plus or max 2 plus per kg?
The vege auntie might even give you a piece or two
if you've bought a lot of stuff from her.
And here they sell it for A$10!!!
Crazy shit i tell you!

Transportation here is very ex as well.
A trip cost A$2.30 and daily tickets for A$4.60.
Students get half price though.
BUT, thats also A$2.30 for a day's trip that's S$3.
And the more zones you travel the more expensive it is.
When we went to send the mom's off, taxi cost A$60 (but its a huge van thing).
So thats abt S$12 per person.
Than when we we're goin home, we took the train.
And guess what. It cost us A$14.70 (after concession).
Adults cost A$15.90.
Crazy prices. Yet! Its so inefficient.
We gotta wait 20 over min for the train.
But the good side is with that ticket we can take the bus & the train.
Say i have a single trip ticket.
I can transfer using any transportation within 2 hrs from the time i bought it.
But of course you have to be within the zones.

Aniways.. The 3 of us (pris, leen & I) are doin double majors.
Which mean that all of our subj have to be 3rd yr modules.
They are doin BMS & Micro, but i'm doin BMS & Anatomical Sciences.
Its gonna be super tough since i dont have much pre-requisites for the subject
However, I'll try to work hard and if the first week really dont work for me,
than i'll probably switch to the same majors are they are doin.
So gotta work hard!!!

Miss you guys sooooo much..
Here's just an update to tell ya'll I'm safe and sound.
SOOO sorry haven't been able to get any internet access so can't update you guys the past week.
Finally got myself enrolled and stuff so i'm currently using the school's PC.

Found a place 15mins walk from school.
Didn't really like it that much at first.
But after the agent got the place cleaned up and stuff,
and we got the place decorated up,
it feels much more like home.
Really missing the unlimited internet access back home.
The so called unlimited internet here is,
3 of us share 12G of internet access, and after that the speed will slow down.
Yea.. kinda sucks and it cost like AUD$60...
Hopefully it can get set up by this week so i could come online and talk to you guys.
Aniways. I've gotten myself a calling card.
Its super cheap to call back. 0.003 CENTS per min.
I could call like 300 000 mins with my AUD$10 calling card
So if ya wanna talk to me i can call you at home. its much cheaper that way.
So book your slots early hahaha.

Everything here is quite expensive. A small over toster is like AUD$40
supplies and neccessities are expensive too.
Argh.. feel like just shipping everything over from singapore.

时间还过的真快，
距离要离开的那天也只剩14天。
很希望可以趁这几天和所有的朋友见面。
虽然是还瞒难的，但也还抱着这样的希望。
自从我辞去我的临时工后，
这几天都在忙收拾行李，
还有买齐一些日用品阿，之类的东西。
忙里偷闲的感觉还蛮好的。
天天在家里忙好了就看电视，
要不就去逛逛商场。

下个星期一会去一趟香港哦！
还蛮期待的。
虽然得当一当电灯泡，打扰一下我哥的蜜月旅行。
可是我先申明哦！是我二哥二嫂邀我一起去的哦！
开心！这会是我第三次去香港哦！

第一次呢，是我两岁的事了吧。
为了参加我表姐的婚礼，听说我当了花童，
哈哈都根本记不得了。
第二次呢，是两三年前的事了吧？
可笑吧？我老豆（粤语老爸的意思）是香港人
可我却只去过两次香港。而且才去了三天?
所以阿，这次能够去足五天还蛮开心的。

Woah.. SUPER FREAKING TIRED!!
The hse is under renovation, so,
mom has been asking to take leave asap to help out with the stuff.
So now i have been rushing my work like mad.
Doing DNA extraction, PCR, electrophoresis everyday.
Repetative work.
I so totally feel like a machine. Like those production line robots.

Sigh!!! The kitchen is renovating too...
No home cooked food, no soup, no nothing.. SADDED!!
SUPER EMO! HAIZ!!
BUT! Nonetheless...
Cant wait for the whole hse to be done.

Argh... SUPER TIRED!!
Its really tiring having to cope work and dance.
So really xin ku ni men le.. esp to the choreographers.
They have to work, dance, think of steps, teach and all..
Must be really super stressed out.

They really thought that i was the same age la.
I went to ask them than they were like,

Aniways. Have been dozing off everyday at work.
Bo bian, really cant keep myself awake.
I've been trying all sorts of ways and means to try to keep myself awake.
E.g. Drink hot water, stand up and walk ard the lab to find stuff to do and pack,
go to the toilet to freshen up, eat some munchies and so on.
But after i've done all these and go back to work, i'll be dozing off once again.
Its like even when i'm centrifuging the tubes
and waiting for that 3-5 mins i can doze off eh! Haha.. X)

Went to cut my hair ytd. Omg. Its so not my kinda hair style.
But whatever, also cut le. Gotta live with it.
Everytime i cut my hair, i'll just tell the auntie any style and retain the length.
So yea.. It came out.. yea.. right..
But my fren say its cute! But i'm so not a cute person!!!

2nd Bro's Wedding (Thailand)

IM BACK!!!!
Yes finally im back..
Hahah have been MIA-ing for quite sometime..
4 days in Malaysia and 1 week in Thailand.
Miss me right?!!
haha i noe i noe..

Flew to bangkok with mom n dad early sunday morning.
Had to travel to Surin cause that's the bride's hometown.
Its quite a country side place, close to cambodia.
The province itself is like at least 2-3 times of singapore..
But the town centre is only like the size of..
maybe tiong bahru?

Aniways on the way there..
We stopped by Bang Pa In Palace.
Its like a holiday/summer palace outta bangkok.
They have buggys that we could rent so we wounldn't have to walk.
The sun was really sorching hot.. Like 37 *C.. CAN DIE PLS!!
Hahah.. BUT BUT.. The main thing isnt the palace..
The main thing is my dad was craving for the huge BBQ river prawns.
There is this restrauant situated along the river,
and the seats are like on these boats.
The prawns are really HUGE N SUPER FRESH N DELICIOUS!!

Than we sat like 5 hrs down to Surin.
The bride's family is like super hospitable..
They are practically stuffing us with food to death! HAHA!!
Each meal have at least like 6-7 dishes for 4-6 person to share..
After that there would be desert and stuff..
I'm practically always full.

Big Bro, my sis-in-law and her family reached
Surin on tuesday morning 5am.
Which is the actual wedding day.
So poor thing.. like no sleep at all..

Aniways.. Bro's Wedding was interesting..
Haha... Its like quite different from Singapore's Wedding.
The first portion of the wedding was the solemnization.
They had wedded couples carry the drowrey into the wedding hall
and the rest of the relatives following behind.

The banquet was like different too.
They didnt have the grand entrance like Singapore weddings always do.
But they have this lighting of candles portion.
And the bride's dad donated money to different charitable organizations.
Its the wedding is actually very chinese cause well the bride is chinese,
they had the traditional tea ceremony for the bride's side
after all the guests have left.
They have like super a lot of relatives please..

The next day we toured surin..
Than the next day we travelled to bangkok.
OMG LADIES.. SHOPPING THERE IS FANTABULOUS!!!
well if u noe the right places to visit.
I bought really a lot of stuff, and the clothes are so cheap!
Its like most of the stuff u see in singapore, u can see them there
at at least half the price!
Suan lum night market, chatuchat market, platinum mall, BMK mall
all these are the must visits..
But the place where is bought the most stuff is at platinum mall..
Oh ya... and the transys are like SUPER PRETTY..
And i really mean absolutely without a doubt.
If they dont speak u really cant tell if "it" is a man or a woman..

I WANT TO GO BACK TO THAILAND!
Anyone wanna noe where to buy what can ask me.. haha!!
Oh and food there is cheap n good too!!! can ask me.. haha..
BTW im doing part time at DSO now.. so GTG! :P

Really Really love the place..
captured everyone's hearts..
Snorkling was SUPER FUN!!!
We saw like loads of underwater life!
Fishes, sea cucumber, even sea urchine!!
The water is super clear.. LIKE OMG!!
haha.. I LOVE THE PLACE!
Its a super nice place to relax, a nice getaway..

Its pouring hippos and rhinos outside my window currently,

Anyway, today is the first day that i officially slacked whole day.
Well technically i slacked the day away and went for NRA in the evening.
Guess what i spent my time on?
Other than watching tv, eating and sleeping...
I was playing POKEMON!
Omg.. haha.. I dont know what got into me.
Started playing the pokemon yellow version LOLZ.
Maybe i should finish my heart of greed show tomorrow.

有时候黄昏的时候就有一种莫名的寂寞..
虽然可能就没发生什么令人悲伤的事..

其实我觉得最寂寞的时候是

真正能够谈心，
真正能够打开心房的人..
我个人认为是比一个人的时候
还要来的寂寞的。

Sat 9th Feb
Went to bestie's place n shu sann's place..
AND I DROVE EVERYONE ARD EH!!!
For the first time after i got my licence
I drove alone.. as in w/o my parents beside me..
Drove my bro's car.. scratched it abit at the car park.
But! Its just a bit.. did abit of cleaning with tissue paper
and i painted a thin coat of black car paint n it looks as good as new..
(at least its not as bad as the ones it already had...)
and and and.. i did a parallel parking OMG.. lolz..
Sigh too bad we're all not free like the whole day so it was kinda like
a while here, a while there n we're off..
Nvm!! We'll have a reunion dinner soon.. HOPEFULLY!
And after grad we shld be goin overseas tgt for a few days..

新的一年，新的开始。

唉.. 好快哦，一年转眼间就过去了。
回想起去年的点点滴滴还蛮感伤的..
可能是因为去年的起伏还蛮大吧？
得到了很多，但失去的也很多..
今年新年也没去年热闹。
家里还蛮冷清的。

Wootx.. Its been 20 days since i last posted and woah..
what a hectic 20 days!!
My first compition is over...
With Funka over, the hard work, the blood, sweat and tears are all over.
Though Shuffle V didnt get into finals, but the experience
was really worth all of it..
Standing on that stage (although the quality is quite poor),
looking at all the audience infront of you, i'm nervous..
But the sense of euphoria really just over takes you..
I treasure frenship gained, the effort put in for training,
sourcing of costume, choreo...
Actually feel kinda empty now that its over.
Aniways.. I'd like to thank big jess, joyce, SK and kai feng who have always
been there to support the team, spending their precious time on us.
Without them i think Shuffle V would have just died. HAHA!!

Three men went to a motel. The motel manager said a room cost $30, so each man put up $10 and went to their room. A little while later the manager realized the room was only $25, so he sent the bellhop back to the three guys' room with $5.
